Dance Dates for 2010

River Cities Ballroom Dance Club is dedicated to bringing live music for ballroom dancing to the Mid Ohio Valley.

The Club has brought bands and orchestras from as far away as Nebraska and as close a Parkesburg, West Virginia and Cambridge Ohio to the Lafayette Hotel for members and guests of members.

Our Dance Schedule Follows:

NOTICE. The February 6, 2010 dance with the Warren Brothers Combo has been rescheduled to Sunday, April 18, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The guest fee is $75.00 per couple with a reservation, or $100 per couple without a reservation. Call Sue Montera at 750-376-0775 to make a reservation.

The dances are held from 8:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. at the Lafayette Hotel Grand Ballroom, in Marietta, Ohio. Membership for the upcoming 2010 - 2011 season, starting July, 2010, is $200 per couple per season, entitling a couple to all the dances of that season. Single members are also welcome!

CAMBRIDGE SOCIAL DANCE CLUB: Dances held at the Elks Club, Cambridge, OH

RIVERBEND ARTS COUNCIL sponsors several dances a year in Middleport, OH

There is a large dancing community in West Virginia, including several chapters of USA Dance, a national organization promoting ballroom dance.

There are also a number of other instructors in Parkersburg and the Mid-Ohio Valley.
